“From the last two-three years, the most impressive has been Mohammed Siraj. The way he has improved in white-ball cricket, it’s a good sign for Indian cricket,” Amir was quoted as saying by India Today.

Siraj has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past two to three years, evolving into one of the team’s most improved bowlers. His impressive performance in the 2023 season, culminating in 44 wickets and a standout 6/21 in the Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka, as rightfully earned him a place in the ICC Men’s ODI Team of the Year 2023. Amir’s recognition of Siraj’s growth reflects the positive trajectory of India’s pace bowling resources.
