In a jaw-dropping moment during the ongoing second Test match between India and England, wicketkeeper KS Bharat showcased his exceptional fielding skills by taking a sensational catch to dismiss Ben Duckett.
KS Bharat grabs a stunner
The remarkable incident unfolded on the field during England’s second innings. Ravichandran Ashwin, who went wicketless in the first innings, gave India the first breakthrough in the second essay. A bit of extra bounce did the work for Ashwin as the ball was angled across the batter. The red leather first hit Duckett’s pads and then lobbed up into the air.
Bharat dived forward from his keeper position to take a stunning catch and England lost their first wicket.

India sets 399-run target against England
Earlier in the day, India set a challenging target of 399 runs for England in their quest to level the five-match series. Currently trailing 1-0, Rohit Sharma‘s team aims to square the series with victory in the ongoing Test being played at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.
Shubman Gill played a pivotal role in India’s second innings, registering century in his 11th Test appearance at the No. 3 position. This marked a significant breakthrough for Gill, who had not previously scored a fifty while batting at one down. His knock of 105, combined with a 143-run lead from the first innings, propelled India to post a formidable target.
