Indian cricket star Ravindra Jadeja is in the news for controversial reasons after his father, Anirudhsinh, alleged a strained relationship with his son and daughter-in-law, Rivaba Jadeja.

Jadeja’s father’s claims come amidst growing speculation surrounding the dynamics within the Jadeja family. Mr. Anirudh disclosed in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar that he and his son no longer maintain communication, indicating a breakdown in their relationship following Jadeja’s marriage to Rivaba in February 2016.

“Let me tell you the truth, I have no relation of any kind with Ravi (Ravindra Jadeja) or his wife Rivaba Jadeja. We don’t call them, and they don’t call us. Controversies started happening only after two-three months of Ravi’s marriage. At present, I live alone in Jamnagar, Ravindra lives separately,” said Mr. Anirudh.

In response to the unfolding controversy, Jadeja took to social media to address the allegations directly. Sharing a statement in Gujarati, Jadeja dismissed the claims made in the interview as “meaningless” and refuted any attempts to tarnish his image or that of his wife, Rivaba.

Jadeja categorically rejected the assertions made by his father in the interview, labeling them as baseless and untrue. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the dignity of his family amidst the public scrutiny, hinting at unresolved issues kept private.

“All the things said in the absurd interview given are meaningless and untrue. It is said on one side. Which I reject. The attempts made to tarnish the image of my godmother are truly reprehensible and unbecoming. I also have a lot to say which is fine as long as I don’t say it publicly. Thank you,” said Jadeja.
