The news of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik‘s son Izhaan facing bullying at school due to his parents divorce and the subsequent marriage of the Pakistani cricketer with TV actress Sana Javed has sparked widespread concern and debate.

Reports of Sania Mirza’s son being mentally disturbed

According to Pakistani media, Izhaan has been subjected to teasing and bullying by peers at his school. The incidents are said to be related to the highly publicized divorce between Sania and Shoaib, followed by Shoaib’s subsequent marriage to Sana.

Also, one of the Samaa TV journalists reportedly had a chat with Sania after Shoaib got married to Sana last month and the journo claimed that Sania ‘s son is mentally disturbed with the treatment that is being offered out to him in school. His classmates are regularly questioning and teasing him over his father’s third marriage.

Notably, Shoaib married to Ayesha Siddiqui, a teacher by profession, in 2002 which ended in a divorce on  April 7, 2010.

Izhaan has been stopped from going to the school

The report further stated that said Izhaan has been stopped from going to the school and Sania is extremely worried about her son’s mental well-being.

The news has generated significant attention on social media platforms, with many expressing outrage and condemnation over the reported bullying. Concerned individuals have called for greater awareness and sensitivity regarding the impact of divorce and family dynamics on children, emphasizing the need for empathy and support for those affected.

Sania, a prominent Indian tennis player and the mentor of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), is yet to make an official statement regarding the matter. However, the incident highlights the challenges faced by children of public figures and the importance of addressing such issues with care and understanding.

As discussions continue surrounding the incident, there is a growing call for schools and communities to take proactive measures to combat bullying and promote inclusivity and respect for all students, regardless of their family backgrounds.
