Just a day before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 kicks off, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced a significant setback with the withdrawal of their star spinner Adam Zampa from the upcoming season. Zampa, a key player retained by the Royals in December’s auction, cited prioritizing his young family as the reason for his decision to step away from IPL 2024.
Replacement announced
In response to Zampa’s departure, the Rajasthan Royals wasted no time in unveiling their replacement for the talented spinner. On March 22, the opening day of the 17th season of the IPL, the Royals announced that Tanush Kotian would be filling the void left by Zampa in the squad.
