Outstanding performance in IPL 2023

It’s worth noting that Rinku was the leading run-scorer for KKR in the previous season, accumulating an impressive 474 runs in 15 matches with a striking strike rate of around 150, featuring four half-centuries. During the same season, Rinku grabbed attention by smashing five sixes in an over against the then Gujarat Titans (GT) bowler Yash Dayal, orchestrating a remarkable victory for his team when the equation seemed improbable – 28 runs needed in 5 balls.

International call-up and continued brilliance

This performance earned him the reputation of a finisher, and he continued to play heroic innings. His success in the 2023 season earned him a call-up to the international side, where he showcased his remarkable talent, proving that his IPL success was no fluke. In eleven white-ball innings for India in the shortest format , he scored 356 runs at a striking average of 176.24, including two half-centuries.
