Rachin Ravindra and Amelia Kerr sweep top honours

Young batting sensation Rachin Ravindra and women’s superstar Amelia Kerr shone brightly at the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) Awards 2024, as they clinched the prestigious Sir Richard Hadlee Medal and Debbie Hockley Medal respectively. Ravindra, in particular, etched his name in history as the youngest recipient of the Sir Richard Hadlee Medal, showcasing his exceptional prowess with the bat throughout the year.

Ravindra’s remarkable run

Ravindra’s outstanding performances in 2023, including his remarkable showing at the World Cup where he amassed 578 runs, coupled with his recent maiden double century in Test cricket against South Africa, cemented his claim to the coveted Sir Richard Hadlee Medal.
