Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East due to Iran’s missile launches at Israel, Pietersen disclosed that his flight had to modify its route and make an unplanned stop for refueling.

He shared an astonishing experience, revealing that their plane had to return to add more fuel due to rerouting to avoid missiles from Iran—an unprecedented occurrence for him. Despite the madness of the situation, he shifted focus to his current location, expressing excitement about being in Mumbai and looking forward to visiting Wankhede Stadium, which he considers one of his favorite cricket grounds.
