Urges media houses not to spread fake news
Zinta further urged media houses to refrain from circulating such stories, highlighting that they can be embarrassing for all parties involved. She further emphasized her focus on PBKS team and their success in the ongoing 17th season of the cash-rich league.
“#Fakenews ! All these articles are completely fake & baseless. I hold Rohit Sharma in very high regard & am a big fan of his, but I have NEVER DISCUSSED him in any interview nor made this STATEMENT! I also have a lot of respect for Shikhar Dhawan & he being currently injured, makes these articles appear in very poor taste. These articles are a perfect example of how misinformation is picked up without any verification & circulated online. I humbly request all Media to refrain from circulating this & embarrassing all concerned parties ?? All I want to say is that we have a great team currently & our only focus is to win games & make the most out of #IPL2024. Thank you,” Zinta wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Punjab Kings journey in IPL 2024
Punjab’s performance in IPL 2024 has been subpar thus far. Out of 7 games played, PBKS have managed only two victories while enduring defeats in 5 matches. Currently positioned second to last on the points table with just 4 points and a negative net run rate of -0.251, their path to securing a spot in the top four appears challenging. Despite this, Punjab still holds a chance, but it will require a concerted effort and determination to reverse their fortunes.
