Actor-turned-film critic Kamaal Rashid Khan, nicknamed as KRK, has once again landed himself in hot water with his remarks about Indian cricket team’s captain Rohit Sharma. In a recent video posted online, KRK made derogatory comments about Rohit’s choice of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan as his ideal co-star, labelling Rohit as “shameless” and “absolutely useless.”
KRK mocks Rohit Sharma’s statement
The controversy stems from Rohit’s recent appearance on The Great India Kapil Sharma Show, where he expressed his desire to act alongside Kareena Kapoor in a film. KRK seized this opportunity to ridicule Rohit, using offensive language and questioning his character.

Netizens blast KRK for his inappropriate behaviour
These comments have not gone down well with fans and netizens alike. Many have taken to social media to express their outrage, calling KRK’s remarks “inappropriate” and “uncalled for.” Some have even questioned his credentials as a critic, highlighting his tendency to resort to personal attacks rather than constructive criticism.
Rohit Sharma maintains his silence
Meanwhile, Rohit has chosen not to respond to KRK’s comments publicly. This is not the first time KRK has stirred controversy with his remarks about cricketers and Bollywood celebrities. He has a history of making inflammatory statements, often landing himself in legal trouble.
Just a few days back, KRK took aim at former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Virat Kohli, asserting that winning an IPL title isn’t in Kohli’s fortune and proposing that he should contemplate benching himself from RCB for a season to assist the franchise.
