Former Australian fast bowler, Jason Gillespie, renowned for his exploits on the field and coaching acumen off it, has been appointed as the head coach of Pakistan’s Test team. Gillespie brings a wealth of experience, having previously coached Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Adelaide Strikers. His appointment fills the void left by Grant Bradburn, who departed in January to lead Glamorgan.
World Cup winning coach to lead white-ball side
Gary Kirsten, the former South African batting maestro and World Cup-winning coach, will take over the reins of Pakistan’s white-ball team. Kirsten’s impressive coaching pedigree includes guiding India to World Cup glory in 2011 and steering South Africa to the top of the Test rankings.
