South Africa will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing T20 World Cup 2023 campaign where they were knocked out in the group stage. They are placed in Group D alongside Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Nepal. Their T20 WC 2024 journey begins on June 3 with a clash against Sri Lanka.

Black Caps Embrace the Past
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) unveiled their men’s team’s jersey on Monday, taking fans on a nostalgic trip with a design reminiscent of their 1990s kits. The official NZC Twitter handle announced the jersey’s arrival with the tweet, “The team’s kit for the 2024 @T20WorldCup Available at the NZC store from tomorrow. #T20WorldCup”.
Several key players, including Tim Southee, James Neesham, Ish Sodhi and Michael Bracewell were featured sporting the new jersey.

New Zealand finished runners-up in the 2021 T20 World Cup held in the UAE, falling short to Australia in the final. They will be hoping to go one step further this time around. In Group C of T20 WC 2024, they will face off against West Indies, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea and Uganda. Their opening match is set for June 7 against Afghanistan.
