From struggle to triumph
Prior to this breakthrough innings against Lucknow, Jurel had endured a challenging run in the ongoing IPL season, managing just 50 runs at an average of below 10 in eight matches. However, his exceptional display in this match alleviated any concerns about his form, as he demonstrated resilience and skill alongside Samson.

With this crucial win, Rajasthan surged to the top of the table with 16 points from eight wins in nine matches, establishing a significant six-point lead over their competitors. While Lucknow have played nine matches, Kolkata and Sunrisers have contested eight matches each, while Delhi has completed 10 matches so far.
