Karthik showcased his extraordinary batting skills, delivering powerful shots that left the Chinnaswamy Stadium in awe and astonished his opponents. Among the 7 sixes, one stood out as the biggest, setting a record in the 17th season of the league.
The event occurred on the first ball of the 16th over bowled by T Natarajan when Karthik unleashed a massive leg-side hit. The ball soared to impressive heights, touching the stadium roof before descending back. The distance of the enormous hit was measured at 108 meters.

SRH grab win after posting highest total in IPL history
Reflecting on the thrilling match, the Sunrisers were put in to bat first and went on to achieve the highest total in the history of the lucrative league. Thanks to Travis Head‘s sensational century, scored in just 39 balls, and Heinrich Klaasen‘s rapid fifty, the Pat Cummins-led team reached 287/3 in 20 overs.
Head notched up 102 runs off 41 deliveries, including 9 fours and 8 sixes, while Klaasen added 67 off 31 balls, with 2 fours and 7 sixes. Aiden Markram (32 off 17) and Abdul Samad (37 off 10) also made key contributions.
In response, RCB made a strong effort but ultimately fell short by 25 runs, finishing at 262/7 in their 20 overs. Captain Faf du Plessis (62) and Karthik (83) provided crucial performances but were unable to guide RCB to victory.
