Former captain Rohit Sharma contributed 49 runs, Ishan Kishan scored 42, Hardik Pandya added 39, Tim David scored a quickfire 45 off 21 balls, and Romario Shepherd chipped in with 39 runs off just 10 deliveries.
In reply, the Capitals put up a valiant effort but fell short, losing the match by 29 runs as they concluded their innings at 205/8. Prithvi Shaw played a crucial innings of 66 runs at the top, while Tristan Stubbs emerged as the standout performer with an unbeaten 71 runs from only 25 balls. However, despite Stubbs’ remarkable effort, Delhi couldn’t cross the finish line.
