KKR’s remarkable performance in IPL 2024
KKR had an exceptional journey this season, asserting their dominance throughout. They secured victory in 9 out of 14 league matches, despite two being called off due to rain, making them the first team to qualify and securing the top spot on the points table.
In the knockout stages, KKR vanquished SRH twice, first in the qualifier 1 and then decisively in the finals. In both encounters, the Knight Riders displayed remarkable dominance, sealing their victories convincingly. Credit is owed to Mentor Gautam Gambhir and the entire team for exhibiting champion-like performances, with every player giving their utmost for the team’s cause.
KKR clinched the trophy for the third time, marking their second triumph at this venue. Their first victory at this ground was in 2012 when they claimed their maiden IPL title by defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In 2014, they overcame Punjab Kings (PBKS) to secure their second trophy, both triumphs occurring under Gambhir’s leadership. This third victory also comes under his mentorship, further solidifying his influence on the team’s success.
