Cricket West Indies has announced a packed international home schedule for the remainder of 2024, featuring tours by South Africa, England and Bangladesh. This exciting calendar promises a summer of thrilling cricket across the Caribbean islands.
2024 Home series for the West Indies’ men:
South Africa’s T20 Double-Header
Kicking off the cricketing extravaganza will be South Africa, who will arrive in May end for a short, three-match T20I series. This series serves as a crucial warm-up for the Proteas ahead of the marquee ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, co-hosted by the USA and the West Indies in June.
Moreover, South Africa will once again tour West Indies a month after the ICC event for two Test matches and another three-match T20I leg.
Tests and T20Is with England
Following the World Cup, England will tour the Caribbean in October and November. Their tour will comprise three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and five T20Is, offering a chance for both sides to test their skills in different formats.
Bangladesh tours for all-format series
Rounding out the international calendar, Bangladesh will visit the Caribbean in November and December for a full tour. This series will feature two Test matches, three ODIs, and three T20Is, providing an opportunity for both teams to battle it out across all formats.
