For the first time since the tournament’s inception, the marquee event will feature 20 teams competing for World Cup glory. Swann predicted that the four teams advancing to the semifinals would be England, India, Australia, and the West Indies.
“The top four teams I would go for are India and England, and then Australia, unfortunately, and then the West Indies,” said Swann as quoted by ANI.

Game plan to succeed in the Caribbean conditions
England, the reigning champions, must be aiming to repeat their victorious performance in the previous T20 World Cup. However, Swann pointed out that England will face a different challenge this time, as the conditions in the West Indies will be unlike the bouncy pitches of Australia.
“I hope so. Yeah, the last time they won, they played pretty good cricket in Australia. It is a different country to go to, the USA and the West Indies. Different forms of cricket. The pitches are nowhere near as hard and bouncy. So I hope they do well. Defending champions is sometimes a hard tag to carry. Looking at the team, I think they are very strong,” Swann added.
