Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are looking to revive their playoffs hopes with victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their last home game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season.
Changes in RR and CSK playing XI
RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bat first. They made a single change to their playing XI, bringing back young batter Dhruv Jurel in place of South African all-rounder Donovan Ferreira.
CSK, on the other hand, made a significant change to their line-up, benching experienced New Zealand all-rounder Mitchell Santner. This decision reflects their focus on strengthening their spin department by bringing in Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana.
