Delhi Capitals (DC) are competing with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 56 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The stage is set at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, where fans gathered in anticipation of an exhilarating contest.
RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to field first opting to take advantage of the conditions early on in the game.
Reason behind the absence of Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel
Samson also reflected on his team’s recent success (eight wins in ten matches), emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum.
However, RR’s batting lineup will be missing two key players – Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel. According to the team management, both batters are sidelined due to “a small niggle” each, leaving them unavailable for the match.
