The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli, who finished as the leading run-scorer of the season, was selected alongside Sunil Narine, the Player of the Tournament, as the opening pair for the team. Both of these standout players recorded centuries during this year’s matches.
Sanju Samson and Dinesh Karthik as wicketkeeper-batters
Sanju Samson, the captain of Rajasthan Royals (RR), was appointed as the wicketkeeper-batter for the team. The 29-year-old amassed 531 runs in 15 innings at an impressive strike rate of 153.47. Additionally, Dinesh Karthik from RCB was also chosen for the same role, despite his average performance this season.

Nicholas Pooran and Andre Russell, known for their clutch performances, were included in the team to dismantle opponents’ bowling attack and propel the team to competitive totals. Additionally, Riyan Parag, who showcased outstanding batting skills for RR, secured a spot in the lineup.

Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, and T Natarajan were enlisted to challenge the top batters of rival teams. These players demonstrated exceptional skills by asserting dominance over opposition batters right from the outset of the matches.
Varun Chakravarthy shines in the spin department
Varun Chakravarthy, the mystery spinner from KKR, who secured 21 wickets for his team, was selected to outfox the quality batters of opposing teams. Together with contributions from Narine, they form a formidable spin duo.
