In a compassionate act, the MI star player fulfilled the wish of a specially-abled fan to meet Rohit Sharma in Lucknow on Tuesday. The fan attended MI’s practice session ahead of their match against LSG, seated in a wheelchair.
In a post shared by MI on their social media platform, Suryakumar was captured taking a selfie with the fan, who later expressed a desire to meet the Indian skipper. Determined to make the fan’s wish come true, Suryakumar ensured Rohit’s presence.
Later, Rohit graciously met with the fan, bringing immense joy to the individual. He autographed the fan’s Test jersey, originally adorned with Virat Kohli‘s name, and also took photos with him, leaving the fan ecstatic with the star-studded encounter. Expressing gratitude, the fan affectionately addressed Suryakumar as ‘Dada’, thanking him for the kind gesture. The encounter served as a poignant reminder of the power of kindness in the realm of sports, touching the hearts of spectators and players alike.

Four MI players feature in India’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled the Indian squad for the upcoming global T20 event. Among the 15 selected players, four have been chosen from the camp of MI.
