T20 World Cup appearances of Afghanistan
Afghanistan is eagerly anticipating the T20 World Cup 2024, having participated in the global event six times previously. However, they have yet to meet their aspirations on the international stage. Despite consistent appearances, they have never advanced to the knockout rounds.
In the 2022 edition, Afghanistan failed to secure a single victory during the league stage. Similarly, in 2021, their attempt to qualify saw them win only two matches in the league stage, resulting in a fourth-place position in their group’s points table.
