The Warm-up matches for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 are set to kick off from May 27 to June 1 across the United States of America (USA) and Trinidad and Tobago. India are slated to face Bangladesh in the US on June 1. The tournament, boasting participation from 20 teams, will be jointly hosted by the West Indies and the USA from June 1 to 29.

Venues and Teams

Warm-up fixtures will be spread across various venues, including the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval, and the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

17 teams will participate in the warm-up matches. These matches won’t be recognized as official T20 international encounters. This decision grants teams the freedom to include all members from their 15-player squads as they see fit.

This edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 marks a historic milestone as it includes matches held in the United States for the first time. With a record-breaking 20 teams in contention, it surpasses the 16-team roster of the 2022 event.
