Rishad, having hit a boundary on the second delivery, attempted a ramp shot on the next ball but mistimed it, resulting in the ball finding its way into the hands of the wicketkeeper. Steven Taylor and skipper Monank formed an opening partnership that yielded 44 runs during the powerplay. Right on the next delivery, Rishad struck again, dismissing Andries Gous for a duck. Despite the lack of significant contributions from other batters, USA managed to set the target of 144 runs with Aaron Jones’ innings of 35 runs off 34 balls.

Bangladesh’s opening pair falters in the game

In the opening over of the second innings, Soumya Sarkar fell victim to a golden duck as he was caught and bowled by Saurabh Netravalkar. Subsequently, in the fourth over, Tanzid Hasan‘s innings came to an end when Jasdeep Singh bowled him after scoring 19 runs off 15 balls.
