Meanwhile, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma were the chief architect of victory of SRH. Chasing a target exceeding 160, Sunrisers achieved the daunting task with exceptional speed, reaching 166 runs without the loss of any wickets in just 9.4 overs. Head played a stellar innings, remaining unbeaten with 89 runs off 30 deliveries, smashing eight fours and eight sixes. Similarly, Abhishek showcased his batting prowess with an unbeaten 75 runs off 28 balls, comprising eight fours and six sixes.
Following this triumph over LSG, SRH have surged to the third position in the standings, accumulating 14 points from 12 matches. Buoyed by this significant win, SRH have also improved their net run rate to +0.406, establishing themselves as strong contenders in the tournament.
