The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the fixtures for Team India’s eagerly awaited international home season for 2024-25. Cricket enthusiasts can look forward to a series of thrilling matches as the Indian team takes on Bangladesh, New Zealand and England.
India’s home season to begin in September
The season is set to commence in September with a two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The first Test will be held in Chennai starting on the 19th of September, while the second Test will take place in Kanpur from the 27th of September. Following the Tests, the teams will engage in a three-match T20I series, with matches scheduled in Dharamshala, Delhi, and Hyderabad.
Following the contests against Bangladesh, India will host New Zealand for an intense three-match Test series. The first Test is slated to begin on the 16th of October in Bengaluru. Pune will be the venue for the second Test, and the series will conclude with the third Test in Mumbai.

As the calendar turns to the New Year, cricket fans can expect an exhilarating white-ball series as England tours India. This series will feature five T20Is and three ODIs, promising a thrilling start to 2025.
