Hardik’s journey with the Mumbai began in 2015 when he was purchased for a modest sum of 10 lakhs during the IPL auction. Within a year, he had made his mark on the Indian national team. After a two-season stint with the Gujarat Titans (GT), Hardik returned to the Mumbai in a high-profile trade deal ahead of the 2024 IPL season. He was appointed captain, replacing the legendary Rohit Sharma, who had led the team to five title glories.
