Batting first, the Texas Super Kings set a challenging target of 177 runs for MI New York. In response, Rashid played an electrifying knock, scoring 50 runs off just 23 balls and maintaining a phenomenal strike rate of over 200. His explosive innings included four fours and five towering sixes. The highlight of his batting came in the 15th over of the second innings when he faced his international teammate, Naveen-ul-Haq. Rashid unleashed his aggressive prowess, hammering Naveen for 20 runs, smashing two sixes and two fours in succession.

Rashid’s dismissal of Aaron Hardie
