The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 is set to kick off on August 29 (local date) with six teams competing for the coveted title in what promises to be an exciting tournament.
CPL format
The CPL 2024 will feature six teams: Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders. Each team will play the others twice in a double round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs. The tournament promises to showcase some of the best T20 talent, including international stars like Andre Russell, Shimron Hetmyer and Faf du Plessis.
As the CPL 2024 approaches, fans are gearing up for what is often referred to as the ‘biggest party in sport.’ With a mix of thrilling cricket and vibrant Caribbean culture, this year’s edition is set to be a memorable one.
