Cricket enthusiasts in the capital are in for a treat as the inaugural edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) is set to commence on August 17, 2024. The tournament will run until September 8, with all matches to be hosted at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

Virender Sehwag graces Delhi Premier League launch as brand ambassador 

The former Indian opener Virender Sehwag graced the upcoming DPL, which was officially launched on Thursday. The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) proudly announced Sehwag as the brand ambassador for the inaugural season.

The DPL promises to be a thrilling spectacle, featuring six competitive men’s teams vying for the championship title over 33 electrifying matches. The league boasts an impressive roster of talent, including international cricket stars such as Ishant Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Navdeep Saini, and Harshit Rana, who are set to showcase their prowess on the field.
