During the 9th match of ongoing Global T20 Canada 2024, Montreal Tigers claimed the easy victory by 42 runs over Brampton Wolves. The match held at CAA centre Brampton, Ontario. Which showcased exceptional performance by the visitors. But it was the Montreal all round effort that clinched the win.

The Montreal won the toss and decided to bat first, setting the stage for fascinating contest. The Montreal’s innings were anchored by Dilpreeet Bajwa (100 off 55) after the early fall of wickets. Other batters contribution also supported the team’s total to 166/7 which they later on won convincingly.
Abhijai Mansingh pulls off a stunner
Abhijai Mansingh injected some sort of flying power when he fetch the stunner while running backward. Mansingh’s super catch came in the third over when Beau Webster bowled a delivery to Tim Seifert. Seifert tried to go for the pull shot but somehow misjudged, the ball was moving away from fielder when Mansingh took the flier and attempted the unbelievable catch.

Match Summary
Mansingh’s catch was the only positive for Brampton’s in the match, as except George Munsey (54 off 34) which included 5 sixes and 2 fours none other batsmen took the responsibility, resultant Montreal won the match by the huge margin.
The victory was built on Azmatullah Omarzai‘s leading the bowling attack taking 4 wickets of his 4 over spell giving just 21 runs and one maiden over. On the other hand Kaleem Sana also took the charge grabbing 2 wickets from 3 overs giving just 6 runs. The disciplined bowling ensured that the Montreal should not lose the opportunity of losing 2 points.
