Pakistan have announced their playing XI for the first Test match against Bangladesh, set to commence on August 21, 2024, in Rawalpindi. The squad features a blend of experienced campaigners and promising young talents, aiming to secure a strong start in the two-match Test series.

Key players in the lineup

The team will be captained by Shan Masood, who has been in exceptional form and is expected to lead from the front with the bat.
