Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya and model-cum-actress Natasa Stankovic have announced their separation after four years of marriage. The couple, who share a son named Agastya, released a joint statement last month, revealing that they had mutually decided to part ways. This announcement followed a noticeable absence of Natasa from public events, including the IPL, where she had previously been a regular supporter of Hardik.

“We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us”

The couple’s joint statement expressed their commitment to co-parenting Agastya while acknowledging the joy and companionship they shared during their time together. “After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us,” they stated. They requested privacy during this difficult time, emphasizing that their son would remain the focal point of their lives.

“We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time,” they added.

Reason behind Hardik and Natasa’s split

While the couple did not delve into specific details regarding their separation, insiders have shed light on the underlying issues that led to their decision. According to a recent report, the primary reason for their split was Hardik’s ‘flamboyant’ and ‘self-centered’ demeanour, which became increasingly difficult for Natasa to handle.

“He was too flamboyant for her, too full of himself. Natasa could not handle it anymore. She realised that there was a major gap between how they were as people. She tried to match it up to him but it made her feel uncomfortable. This was a never-ending process so it became tiring after a while. Natasa was not able to keep pace hence she decided to take a step back,” a source was quoted as saying by Times Now.

The insider explained that despite her efforts to adapt to Hardik’s lifestyle, the growing discomfort became unbearable. “She mulled over it but her decision became firm when he did not change. It was a very painful decision by Natasa but it didn’t come in one day/ one week. It was a slow but gradual wound that kept hurting her,” the source added.

Hardik and Natasa move on in their respective lives

Since the announcement of their separation, both Hardik and Natasa have been navigating their new lives. Rumours have emerged linking Hardik to British singer Jasmin Walia, with fans speculating about their relationship after noticing similarities in their social media posts. Meanwhile, Natasa has returned to her hometown in Serbia with Agastya, sharing glimpses of their life together on social media.
Despite the personal challenges they face, both Hardik and Natasa have expressed their commitment to co-parenting Agastya, ensuring that he remains the centre of their lives. Their decision to part ways, while painful, appears to have been made with careful consideration and mutual respect.
