The second season of the Uttar Pradesh (UP) T20 League is about to kick off, with matches taking place at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow from August 25 to September 14.

Former India international Suresh Raina has been named as the brand ambassador of the tournament.

UP T20 2024: Fixtures: Rest days ahead of the playoffs

In the opening game, Kashi Rudras will face off against Meerut Mavericks. The host team, Lucknow Falcons, will begin their campaign against Kanpur Superstars on August 26.

The UP T20 format will mirror that of the Indian Premier League (IPL), with continuous matches until the league stage concludes on September 9. There will be rest days on September 10 and 13.

The Qualifier 1 and Eliminator are scheduled for September 11, while Qualifier 2 is slated to be played on September 12. The final match is set for September 14. Throughout the league, two encounters will be played daily at the Ekana Stadium, except for the opening and final matches.

The UP T20 League 2024 will be inaugurated by Rajiv Shukla, Vice President of the BCCI and Director of UPCA. Meanwhile, the opening ceremony will be a star-studded affair, featuring performances by renowned rapper Badshah, along with Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Janhvi Kapoor.
