Pant’s comeback in the ODI format

Pant, who recently made his comeback to the Indian ODI squad during the three-match series against Sri Lanka, played in the final match of the tour. He replaced KL Rahul in the lineup, scoring 6 runs off 9 balls. This match marked Pant’s return to ODIs after a hiatus due to a serious car accident, with his last 50-over appearance dating back to November 2022 against New Zealand.
