Among them is Kamil Khan of the Lucknow Falcons, a promising cricketer making waves in the ongoing season.

In a recent exclusive interview, Kamil shared insights into his career, the impact of his coach, and his thoughts on Indian cricket star Kuldeep Yadav. Kamil spoke candidly about the pivotal role his coach has played in his development, emphasizing how their guidance has been instrumental in shaping his skills and approach to the game. He also expressed admiration for Kuldeep, highlighting how Kuldeep’s performances and techniques have inspired him to push his own boundaries.

Question: How has been your cricketing journey so far?

Kamil: I went to Kapil Pandey sir who coaches cricketers in Kanpur. He trained me. Kapil sir helped me a lot. Due to his training, I was able to play Under-16, Under-19 for UP. My parents and coach have played a big role in wherever I am today.

Question: Whom do you consider as your idol in the Indian team?

Kamil: I consider Rishabh Pant as my idol. I like his style of playing a lot. Pant’s sixes are worth watching. Especially he plays the slog shot very well.

Question: Do you want to say anything about Yuvraj Singh?

Kamil: Yuvraj Singh has been a great player. I like him as well.

Question: Kapil Pandey is also the coach of Kuldeep Yadav, so what did you learn from the star player during training?

Kamil: Whenever Kuldeep bhaiya comes with me for training, he keeps teaching me something or the other. If I play a wrong shot, he tells me not to play this shot but to play that shot.

Question: How is your experience of training with Kuldeep?

Kamil: Kuldeep bhaiya remains serious during the training sessions. However, he also jokes around in the free team. He enjoys it. Like once he said that Kamil you have grown your weight, reduce your belly fat.

Question: What are your plans for the future?

Kamil: First of all, I want to play Ranji for UP. I would like to perform well in this domestic tournament and play for India. When I sleep, the only thought that comes to my mind is how hard I should work so that I can play for India.
