Gurbaz, in particular, was in exceptional form, smashing the ball to all parts of the ground. His aggressive approach set the tone for the innings, and he quickly put the Patriots’ bowlers on the back foot.
Despite Sinclair’s early dismissal on 25 runs, the Warriors continued to score at a brisk pace. Gurbaz and Hetmyer (91 runs off 39 balls) formed a solid partnership of 116 runs, consolidating the innings and ensuring that the Warriors were in a strong position at the halfway mark.
