The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the dates and venue for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final. The summit clash of the 2023-25 WTC cycle will take place at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.

India and Australia lead the race

The highly anticipated one-off Test match is scheduled to be held from June 11 to 15, 2025. A reserve day has been set aside on June 16 in case of inclement weather.

This will be the first time that Lord’s is set to host the World Test Championship final. Previously, the Rose Bowl in Southampton and The Oval in London have hosted the finals of the inaugural two editions, which were won by New Zealand in 2021 and Australia in 2023, respectively.

The grand finale will feature the top two teams on the World Test Championship standings at the conclusion of the current cycle. India, led by Rohit Sharma, currently occupies the top spot, closely followed by defending champions Australia.
