The highly anticipated series is set to kick off on September 19th.

Ganguly praised Akash as an outstanding young fast bowler, highlighting his speed, fitness and ability to bowl for long periods. He compared Akash’s pace to Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami, saying he could hit speeds in the high 140s and is a talent to watch out for.

Ganguly also addressed the absence of India’s star pacer Shami, who is currently sidelined due to an injury. However, the former Indian batter assured fans that Shami’s recovery is on track.

I know Mohammed Shami is missing because of injury, but he will be back very soon since India is going to Australia. It’s still a very good attack,” said Ganguly, expressing confidence in India’s bowling strength despite Shami’s temporary absence.
