Chase, who also took the catch of Imad Wasim, once again played a pivotal role in the field as his brilliance denied the Falcons’ key big-hitter the chance to revive the innings.

Antigua and Barbuda Falcons falls short in the run-chase
Batting first, the Saint Lucia Kings posted a total of 152 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs. The standout performer for the Kings was all-rounder David Wiese, who anchored the innings with a valuable knock of 43* from 26 balls, featuring one four and four towering sixes. His composure under pressure ensured that the Kings had a competitive score on the board.
Despite Wiese’s efforts, the Kings’ batting lineup largely faltered, with wickets tumbling at regular intervals, thanks to a brilliant bowling spell by Falcons’ skipper Chris Green.
