Southern Super Stars’ triumph over Gujarat Greats
Batting first, the Southern Super Stars set a target of 145 runs, finishing their innings at 144 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Chathuranga de Silva emerged as the standout performer for the Super Stars, scoring a swift 53 runs off just 28 deliveries, which played a crucial role in setting a competitive total. On the bowling front, Gujarat Greats’ Manan Sharma was exceptional, dismantling the Southern Super Stars’ batting lineup with a stunning performance. He claimed 6 wickets in his 4-over spell, conceding only 17 runs at an impressive economy rate of 4.2.
In their pursuit, the Gujarat Greats struggled to build partnerships, managing only 118 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted overs.
