The Abu Dhabi T10 2024 is all set to kick off in November, and this season promises to be bigger and more exciting with a star-studded lineup. The tournament will run from November 21 to December 2, ensuring no clash with other major cricket leagues such as the Big Bash League (BBL), SA20, ILT20, and New Zealand’s Super Smash.

Tournament expansion and new teams

For the first time, the Abu Dhabi T10 will feature a ten-team league format. The new entrants, Bolts Ajman and UP Nawabs, will join the existing lineup, adding fresh competition to the tournament. Teams have recently unveiled their list of new signings and retentions, setting the stage for a thrilling season ahead.

Star players to watch

Several big names in world cricket will be seen in action in this year’s tournament. Former Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik, Afghanistan’s spin wizard Rashid Khan, and England’s white-ball captain Jos Buttler are among the prominent figures who have signed up.

Buttler will be seen playing for the Deccan Gladiators, who have retained their core group, including Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, and Maheesh Theekshana. Meanwhile, Bangla Tigers have strengthened their squad by acquiring both Rashid and Karthik, along with Shakib Al Hasan, who recently announced his retirement from T20Is.
