T20 Spring Challenge 2024

The much-awaited T20 Spring Challenge 2024, conducted by Cricket Australia (CA), is set to deliver an action-packed tournament, starting October 11. To be held in Sydney and Adelaide, the competition will serve as a thrilling prelude to the 10th edition of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL). Designed to fill the gap in domestic matches following the shortening of the WBBL season, this tournament promises top-notch cricket and exciting moments for fans.

Tournament structure and schedule

The T20 Spring Challenge will feature nine teams, with each team playing four group-stage matches. Following the round-robin stage, the top four teams will progress to the semi-finals, scheduled for Saturday, October 19. The grand finale will take place on Sunday, October 20. In total, 21 matches will be played, including the semi-finals and the final.

This format guarantees a packed schedule of high-quality cricket, giving emerging players a platform to showcase their talents ahead of the WBBL.
