Afghanistan are set to face Bangladesh in a three-match ODI series in the UAE, starting on Wednesday, November 6, at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. All matches will take place at the same venue.

Afghanistan heads into the series with confidence, having recently triumphed over South Africa in a three-match ODI series, winning 2-1.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh secured a victory in their last ODI series against Sri Lanka, also by a score of 2-1, although that series took place back in March this year. Since then, they have focused on Test and T20I matches.

The two teams are closely matched in the ICC ODI rankings, with Bangladesh sitting in 8th place and Afghanistan in 9th.
