National Women's One-Day Tournament

Karachi is all set to host the National Women’s One Day Cup 2024-25, a premier cricket tournament featuring five teams: Challengers, Conquerors, Invincibles, Stars and Strikers. This year’s tournament, held entirely in Karachi, will follow a double-league format, with each team playing eight matches. The top two teams at the end of the league phase will advance to the final, scheduled for November 30.

The tournament will feature two matches daily, with games spread across two venues – the HPC Oval Ground and the UBL Sports Complex. Each match will start at 9:30 am PKT, giving fans a full day of action as the teams battle for supremacy.

Team Mentors and Prize Money of the Tournament

Adding star power to the teams, former Pakistan greats have been appointed as mentors. Waqar Younis will guide the Challengers, while Misbah-ul-Haq will mentor the Conquerors, and Sarfaraz Ahmed will support the Invincibles. Shoaib Malik will lend his expertise to the Stars, and Saqlain Mushtaq will oversee the Strikers.

The tournament comes with a total prize pool of PKR 3.3 million. The winning team will receive PKR 1.5 million, while the runners-up will take home PKR 1 million.

With 21 matches scheduled in total, this competition not only promises thrilling encounters but also serves as a platform for emerging women cricketers to showcase their skills and gain valuable experience.
