Dhawan’s stellar IPL career and international legacy

Notably, Dhawan retired earlier this year as one of the top run-scorers in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In his illustrious IPL career, Dhawan scored 6,769 runs in 222 matches, with an impressive tally of two centuries and 51 half-centuries. He holds the record as the second-highest run-scorer in the tournament’s history, only behind Virat Kohli, who leads with 8,004 runs from 252 matches.

He played 34 Tests, 167 ODIs, and 68 T20Is, accumulating a total of 10,867 runs, which included 24 centuries and 55 half-centuries.
