Jessica expressed her delight at Head’s century, calling it a truly special moment as it happened at their home ground, Adelaide Oval, in front of family and friends, including their newborn son, who was watching his first game.
“It’s amazing; you can’t ask for more than a hundred at Adelaide. This is a ground that’s close to our hearts—it’s home for both of us. Seeing him achieve this milestone in front of family and friends, with our newborn son watching his first game, is something truly special,” Jessica told Rachel Khawaja on 7 cricket.
Jessica also recalled a similar event involving their first child, Miller, when Head had also scored a century in Miller’s first game. The repeat of such a remarkable moment with their newborn son, Harry, made the occasion even more memorable.
“Yes, he celebrated similarly when Miller was born, scoring a century during his first match too. And now, in Harry’s first game, he’s done it again. It’s such a special memory for us,” Jessica added.
