Two of the finest Test playing nations in the cricketing world, Sri Lanka and Australia up against each other for an exciting face-off in the longest format of the game to lay their hands on the coveted Warne-Muralitharan Trophy 2025. While Sri Lanka arrive at the back of a disappointing series loss against South Africa, spirits are high in the Australian camp after their historic triumph over India to win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after a decade.

The weather in the scenic Sri Lankan town of Galle is not expected to be ideal for Test cricket for the next 5 days. Rain showers are expected to interrupt play and create damp conditions in an otherwise batting-friendly solid pitch.
