The schedule includes the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a bilateral series against England and the ICC Champions Trophy, before the beginning of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy
The year kicks off with the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia from January 3 to 7 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). This match is crucial for India as it could significantly impact their chances of qualifying for the ICC World Test Championship final.
India vs England Series
Following their Australian tour, India will host England for a bilateral series comprising both T20Is and ODIs:
T20I Series:
- 1st T20I: January 22, Kolkata
- 2nd T20I: January 25, Chennai
- 3rd T20I: January 28, Rajkot
- 4th T20I: January 31, Pune
- 5th T20I: February 2, Mumbai
ODI Series:
